The New dataliteracy.com Is Live

By Ben Jones, Co-Founder and CEO of Data Literacy
We rebuilt dataliteracy.com from scratch, and it's live today.
The old site served us well for years, but it grew one plugin at a time, and it showed. Courses lived in one system, purchases in another, and nothing on the page knew what you were actually working on. So we started over. Same courses, same instructors, new foundation.
Here's what you'll find.
Start free with the 21 Key Traits
Our 21 Key Traits of Data & AI Literacy course is free. Create an account, no credit card, and you're in.
The course walks through the traits we've seen in the most fluent people we've worked with, grouped into four categories: knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors. Most people expect the first two. We'd argue the last two matter just as much.
The part worth your time is the self-assessment. For each trait you score two things: how proficient you are today, and how important that trait is to the job you're doing right now. Those two scores put each trait into one of four quadrants, so you finish with a picture of where to spend your energy and, just as usefully, what you can leave alone for now. You don't have to be great at all 21. Nobody is.

A filled-in assessment. The traits in the upper left are where the course says to start.
Scores are saved to your account, so you can take it again in six months and see what moved.
Plus: the full library
Plus is $19/month, or $190/year. It opens up every course we have, which is ten today and growing: data literacy fundamentals, AI literacy, data storytelling, Chart Spark, responsible AI, data literacy for leaders, and more. Quizzes, badges, certificates of completion, and progress tracking across the whole library are included. Cancel anytime, with a 7-day money-back guarantee.
No AI features in Plus. That's deliberate. Plenty of people want the courses and nothing else, and they shouldn't pay for what they won't use.
Pro: add the AI Coach and the AI Tutor
Pro is $29/month, or $290/year. It's everything in Plus, plus the two AI features we've been building.
The AI Coach is the planner. You tell it your role, your background, and what you're trying to get better at, and it recommends what to study next by name, based on where you are in a course and what you've already finished. It's the conversation you'd have with an instructor before you enroll, not during a lesson.
The AI Tutor is the one inside the lesson. It sits in the corner of every page and already has the lesson in front of it, so you can ask what a paragraph means, request an example from your industry, or tell it to quiz you. One thing it won't do is hand you quiz answers. Ask it a quiz question and it'll ask you a question back, which is annoying in the moment and better for you in the end.
Both are in beta. There's a feedback link on every response, and we read all of it.
For teams of ten or more, Enterprise adds seat management, SSO, and dedicated support. Get in touch and we'll put together a quote.
If you bought from us before
Your purchases came over. Sign in with the email address you used on the old site and your courses should be waiting, along with your completion history. If something looks missing, email us and we'll sort it out.
Go take a look
Create a free account, take the 21 Key Traits assessment, and see what the grid says about where you stand. It takes about twenty minutes and it's the best starting point I know of.
We'll keep shipping. Tell us what to fix.
