Data Storytelling for IMPACT teaches you how to turn data into clear stories that drive decisions and action. This course uses the IMPACT Framework — an iterative, audience-centered approach to data storytelling. The IMPACT acronym stands for: - **Insight**: Identify meaningful insights from your data - **Message**: Craft a clear, audience-centered message - **Plan**: Map out your data story using storyboarding techniques - **Align**: Select the most effective chart types and visuals - **Clarify**: Polish your design for clarity and cohesion - **Test**: Present with confidence and gather feedback By the end of this course, you will be able to create and deliver impactful data stories using an iterative approach inspired by Agile software development. You'll work through each step of the IMPACT framework using practical exercises and a real-world example featuring Becky and Fern's newsletter challenge. This course is designed to be completed in approximately 2 to 3 hours. The six lesson videos range from ~9 to 15 minutes in length.
