Data Literacy welcomes Allen Hillery to the Advisory Board

Allen Hillery joins the Advisory Board | Data Literacy | Data Literacy  

We’re excited to announce that Allen Hillery has agreed to join the Data Literacy Advisory Board as a volunteer advisor. Mr. Hillery, based in New York City, brings a wealth of experience in both teaching and writing about data and its impact on our world.

Mr. Hillery combines a passion for data literacy with the dedication of an experienced educator and the voice of an articulate writer. He currently writes for the Data Visualization Society as well as Beyond the Data. Here are some recent samples of his writing:

Mr. Hillery has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from City College of New York (1998) and a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Baruch College (2007). In his Master’s program, he studied abroad in both China and South Africa.

Mr. Hillery is currently an Associate Adjunct Faculty at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies in the MS Applied Analytics degree program.
